Hi! I’m Dietrich (he/him), co-founder of Bjièn, an independent consultancy from Ghent, Belgium.
I speak, train and consult on neurodiversity at work and building resilient, productive and neuro-inclusive teams. Neurodiversity? That’s the diversity in the human brain – think ADHD, dyslexia, Tourette’s, or other conditions, and people that are highly sensitive, introverted, autistic, or intellectually gifted. I am a pioneer in Belgium with regards to offering B2B neurodiversity training and consulting services, and am the co-author of the Dutch book “Waarom normaal niet werkt” on neuro-inclusion in the workplace.
Next to that, I provide freelance consulting in functional analysis, software engineering and team resilience & agility. I build and maintain scalable SaaS platforms, and have delivered online applications since 2003 using PHP (Symfony, Laravel), Python, Go, JavaScript, and Ruby. I specialize in extending legacy systems, leading teams to ship value efficiently, and accelerating development with modern tooling and AI assistants like Cursor and Mistral Vibe.
